This Privacy Policy explains how Button LLC (doing business as Button Games) ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Peewee Hockey mobile game for iPhone and iPad (the "Game") and the peeweehockeygame.com website (the "Site").

Purchases from our merch store at store.peeweehockeygame.com are covered by a separate Store Privacy Policy.

The short version

  • The Game has no ads, no third-party analytics, and no tracking.
  • The Game doesn't ask you to create an account, and we don't collect your personal information through it.
  • Your game saves stay on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage — we can't access them.
  • We never sell personal information.

Information in the Game

Game data on your device

Your saves, settings, and anything you enter in the Game — like team names, player names, and jersey designs — are stored locally on your device. This data stays on your device unless you enable iCloud sync (below). Deleting the app deletes this local data.

iCloud sync (CloudKit)

If you're signed in to iCloud, the Game syncs your saves across your devices using Apple's CloudKit. Saves are stored in your private iCloud database, tied to your Apple Account. We cannot read, access, or share this data — only you can, through your devices. You can turn off iCloud sync for the Game in iOS Settings, and you can delete the data by removing the Game's iCloud data in Settings.

Game Center

The Game uses Apple's Game Center for features like leaderboards and achievements. Game Center is operated by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; we receive Game Center data (like your player nickname and scores) only as needed to show those features in the Game. You can manage or disable Game Center in iOS Settings.

In-app purchases

Optional purchases (like the Premium upgrade or coins) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, payment card, or billing details — Apple provides us only anonymized transaction records so the Game can deliver what you bought. Refunds are handled by Apple.

What the Game does NOT do

  • No advertising or ad networks
  • No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
  • No selling or sharing of personal information
  • No account signup, email collection, or social login

Information on the Site

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject, and message you submit, along with your IP address. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile (which checks your request, including your IP address, to block bots), and your submission is delivered to our inbox via Resend, our email provider. We use this information only to respond to you.

Analytics and hosting

The Site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes visitor IP addresses as part of serving and securing the Site. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first tool that gives us aggregate statistics (page views, referrers, countries) without cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking. The Site does not use advertising or marketing cookies.

How we use information

We use the limited information described above to operate the Game and Site, deliver purchases, respond to messages, fix problems, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers named above (Apple, Cloudflare, Resend), each acting on our behalf to run the Game and Site, and when required by law or to protect our rights. That's it.

Data retention

Contact-form messages are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for reasonable record-keeping. Game data on your device and in your iCloud is under your control — delete the app or its iCloud data to remove it.

Your choices and rights

  • Turn off iCloud sync or Game Center for the Game in iOS Settings.
  • Delete the app to remove local game data; delete the Game's iCloud data in Settings to remove synced saves.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold (for most players, that's at most a contact-form email). To make a request, email support@peeweehockeygame.com.

Children

Peewee Hockey is a general-audience game designed to be family-friendly. The Game does not require an account and does not collect personal information from any player, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 — the Site's contact form is intended for adults, and if we learn a child under 13 has submitted personal information, we will delete it; parents can contact us at support@peeweehockeygame.com. Game Center and in-app purchases are provided by Apple, and parents can restrict both with iOS parental controls like Screen Time and Ask to Buy.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
